Furthermore, the council has engaged in discussions to extend the eviction notice period, providing tenants with more time to address rent issues and seek assistance. Although a recent proposal to increase the notice period from 30 to 45 days was vetoed by Mayor Jacob Frey, the council continues to explore legislative avenues to support renters.
